Do you know what the least populated country in the world is? It’s Pitcairn Island, which only has 45 residents.
Or here’s an easy one: What country grants the most patents? It’s Japan, at least per capita.
Okay, maybe a Web site dedicated to world statistics doesn’t sound all that entertaining. But NationMaster really sucked me in. I spent hours poring over the information.
Once you start exploring the site, I’m sure you’ll find it fascinating, too. But remember, people may get annoyed if you quote the statistics you learn too often!
