I’ve got a couple of computers sitting on my desk. But I only use one keyboard and mouse.
No, I’m not using a KVM switch. These gadgets are commonly used to share keyboards, mice and monitors between computers.
Instead, I use Synergy . This handy program allows you to use the same mouse and keyboard on multiple computers. It even works on several operating systems!
So, if you have multiple computers, you don’t need to buy a KVM switch. Just download this free program. Unfortunately, though, it doesn’t let the computers share a monitor. Drats!
