Survey: Many schools lack policy on social-networking sites

A recent survey of attendees at the National School Boards Association annual Technology + Learning Conference found that 50% of schools have no policies on student use of MySpace, Facebook and similar social-networking sites, and those schools that do tend to filter such sites or require students to sign acceptable-use policy during school hours.
