Six Steps to ELL Lesson Design

posted Saturday, 11 August 2007

Classroom teachers across the country are struggling to find ways to meet the needs of non-English, limited English, and
proficient English speakers within a single curriculum. This often calls for adaptation of existing lessons or the creation of new materials, tasks that are often challenging and time consuming. To cope with the challenges surrounding this issue, Six Steps to ELL Lesson Design was created as part of graduate course project. A very simple step by step tutorial of sorts with links for further information and the opportunity to add your own lessons.

See http://edweb. sdsu.edu/ People/tkopcha/ ELL%20website/ jss.html for a summary of the steps and activities.
