NWREL Summer Mathematics Institutes For Teachers
NWREL is pleased to announce two **Mathematics Summer Institutes** for K-5 teachers focusing on Number Sense and Algebraic Reasoning at ESD 101 in Spokane, Washington, July 21-25, 2008:
1) Mathematics Summer Institute for Grades K-2
Participants will explore:
-What is number sense and algebraic reasoning?
-How do children develop number sense and algebraic reasoning?
-What instructional strategies do teachers use to foster and support
children's number sense and algebraic reasoning?
