This will give you more time to obtain necessary information, collaborative partnerships with others, and refining your grant application.


High School Physics Teacher Grant
Deadline: November 1, 2007 - American Association of Physics Teachers (AAPT)

The American Association of Physics Teachers (AAPT) provides $100-$500 grants to encourage high school physics teachers who are members of AAPT to improve their teaching practices.


Connecting Mathematics to Other Subject Areas Grants
Deadline: November 2, 2007 - National Council of Teachers of Mathematics (NCTM)

For 2008–2009, grants up to $3,000 will be awarded to NCTM members currently teaching mathematics in grades 9–12. The purpose of this grant is to purchase classroom materials or create lessons that connect mathematics to other fields.


$100,000 Lemelson-MIT Award for Sustainability
Deadline: November 2, 2007 - The Lemelson-MIT Program

The $100,000 Lemelson-MIT Award for Sustainability recognizes individuals who have created a product, process, or material and are inspirational to young people through their creativity, outreach, or mentoring activities.


WNBA Eastman Grant
Deadline: November 1, 2007 - American Library Association (ALA)

The WNBA Eastman Grant offers up to $750 to a librarian who will participate in an intensive institute devoted to aspects of professional publishing. Eligible librarians hold an MLS (or its equivalent) and have 2+ years work experience in a library.
