Blufr

posted Sunday, 26 November 2006

Need something to keep the wandering attention of your students focused on learning as the winter holidays approach?  Looking for an innovative way to see if they were really paying attention to what was covered in class?  Use blufr. blufr is a truly addictive trivia game that offers an entertaining way to learn facts and trivia.  But don't take our word for it; your colleague, The Reflective Teacher, gives high thumbs up to blufr in the classroom.  He writes that blufr is not only educational, but more importantly, fun for students. He also likes the fact that "no matter whether you answer correctly or incorrectly, the site gives you a little more information about the answer." Recently, blufr announced the addition of bluf-o-grams, personalized blufs that users can make up and then send to whomever they want.  Have a fact that you want to test your students on from the day's lesson? Send it to them in a bluf-o-gram!
