Audio Aquarium Gives People With Visual Disabilities Sense of Sea Life

Pairing fish and their movements with music via visual-recognition software creates a symphony of sounds that scientists hope will allow people with visual impairments to experience sea life. "Many of the things we do help them solve basic problems -- shopping, working, brushing their teeth," says Bruce Walker, an associate professor at Georgia Tech who works with the school's Center for Music Technology.
