An American Christmas Radio Shows

posted Saturday, 3 December 2005

LISTEN TO THE BIGGEST CHRISTMAS RADIO SHOW

Coming to hundreds of radio stations throughout the country this year is An American Christmas. This special radio program is hosted by Chip Davis. Chip is a cool guy and founder of the phenomenally successful Mannheim Steamroller. WestStar TalkRadio Network, produced and syndicated the program. There are actually two programs.

First, there’s the 12 Days of Christmas. These start airing every day beginning Dec. 8. Each day, you’ll hear in 60 seconds a story about a Christmas legend or fact. And then, on Christmas Eve, comes the 12-hour event, An American Christmas. This is a mixture of the top holiday tunes cued to Chip narrating Christmas history and legends.

It’s a family project. Listen closely and you’ll hear Ian saying "God bless us everyone." And the little girl who reads a letter to Santa is actually Chip’s 6-year-old daughter, Elyse. My husband, Barry, narrates a bunch, too. It was so much fun.

To find the radio station nearest you broadcasting the programs, click the link below. And if you do listen, drop me a note and let me know what you think. I just love it. But I could be biased.
